Into Darkness

* The Jedi quickly gather their supplies, loading the Requiem. The atmosphere was tense, a heavy energy filling the area. Curiosity over the vision that Asha had experienced was eating away at them, as they moved about the ship, stowing equipment and supplies for their mission.*

* Asha steps carefully around some crates and waves Chaladdik and Valkorian over to her.*

I know that this is a little sudden, but we have just faced a great tragedy. In light of the circumstances, I'd like to grant you both the rank of Sentinel.

* Asha paused to take a deep breath.*

Gr-I mean, Hask...and I were discussing your positions prior to our Tatooine mission, and it seems that you've only gotten stronger since then.

'A Sentinel... One who stands watch, to protect and defend.'
Chaladdik looked between Valkorian and Asha.
'Of course, it is my honour and privilege.'

*Boudreax and Zeno enter the ship and approach the others*

Congratulations Chaladdik and Valkorian. Also thanks for loading the ship for us.

After speaking with the Grand Master we have decided that myself and Master Zeno are going to the Korriban system alone. Grand Master Asha has other assignments for all of you that’ll serve as great importance to our cause.

* Asha nods solemnly.*

We must repair the damages to the temple, and we must honor our dead. Zeno and Boudreaux have chosen to carry out this mission on their own so that we may have time to recover and train.

Chaladdik saw wisdom in their plan. There was much to be done at the temple. Even still, his heart sunk as if he was to lose two more brothers on this day...
He breathed with the universe.
Kodo and Taral had made their choices. Nothing more was to be done for them.
‘Boudreax and Zeno, be safe. Do not let your mind be twisted and clouded. Guide and protect each other. Be strong and true, and may the force be with you both.’

*Asha approaches Foogel and drops to her knees beside him. She wraps her arms around him.*

I'm so sorry, Foogel. I tried to stop him.

* She steadies herself, pats his head and stands.*

Come with me young one, let me get you some food.

*Boudreax looks to Chaladdik*

Thank you my friend, and may the force be with you.

*As Boudreaux moves towards the cockpit, he turns to face his friends*

We’ll stop then Grand Master, may the force be with you all.

As you ready to depart Master Zeno?

"As ready as a setting moon, also, Grandmaster there's something on my work bench that I think you should give to one of the padawans. Your choice on who gets it." He boarded the ship, opting to sit in the co-pilot seat instead of the piloting seat. 'Lets go. We need to hurry. You ready R4?" He looking back to see the asteroid bot rolling up the ramp and heading to the coms station.

*Boudreax and Zeno take off in their ship heading for the planet Korriban, the birthplace of the Sith*

* The two Jedi stand just outside their ship, the planet around them coated in an umber haze. They weren't sure where on the planet to search for Taral and Kodo, but between Boudreaux's tracking skills, and Zeno's sensitivity to the force, they hoped to make quick work of this mission.*

Which way do you think we should go my friend? Do you sense anything?

* To their left, a rocky barren field leads to rocky outcroppings, to their right, a narrow, twisting paths makes its way up a stony slope.*

Zeno stepped a bit further onto the got ground, looking around at the dusty demise that was this vile planet. He closed his eyes letting his senses and the force explore around them. This place was to chaotic for any thing like this but it was always worth a try. But someone seemed familiar off to the northeast of where they landed. “I think we should head northeast first and sweet west from there. Maybe an go a half an hour before heading west? “ he said opening his eyes as he flexed his fingers to rid the stiffness, “But it’s hard to really really tell. The force here is to chaotic for anything reliable. We might need to rely on your tracking abilities. Also, do you think it’d be alright for me to ride on you? Just to save time?”

*Boudreax knelt down*

Absolutely my friend, I’ll need you to be my eyes as we travel, I’m going to focus on getting a track on them as we ride.

They proceed Northeast in the direction Zeno directed.

*Soon though Boudreax smelled a familiar scent....*

I think I found them, they’re heading West!

* As they clear the top of the closest rise, they spy a bundle of brown tucked tightly under the edge of a heavy looking stone.*

*Boudreax approaches the bundle, as they close in, Zeno disembarks and they stop just short of the object with sabers drawn*

* Taral's Jedi cloak lay, folded and discarded beneath the stone. There were no other signs of disturbances, save two boot prints in front of the stone.*

Jumping off of Boudreaux, Zeno approaches the discarded robes. Knowing better than to touch them he looked around the rock although with his eyes were closed he could barely feel anything on this planet. "This is definitely Terals, im at a lost at which way they went though, you got anything?"

The scent has somehow become faint, my best guess is that they continued west. Climb up and we’ll set off.

* The sun is beginning to make its way closer to the horizon, giving the sky a deep, burning orange color. The sound of pebbles skittering across the rocky surface nearby alerts them that they may not be alone.*

Jumping up with ease Zeno squints as they take off to the west. "So what do you think we should do? Knock them out take them back by force?"

That’s what I was thinking, but we must use caution, I’m sure they’re not going to be very predictable.

*Boudreaxs hairs seems to stand up as he hears something in their vicinity*

I have the feeling that we are not alone.....

* The fading light is beginning to make moving forward more dangerous. With the possible threat close behind them, a decision must be made whether to make camp, or continue onwards in the rising darkness.*

"As long as it doesn't get to close well be fine. Let's keep going. We stop now and we're sitting tantans without shelter" he said pulling out his hilt and igniting it overhead to brighten the area around them. "You keep going, ill defend us unless there's to many"
